SAS Stud Stable – Riding Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SAS Stud Stable.

Were delighted to have you with us and to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please take a few moments to read our riding terms, safety rules, and risk acknowledgement statement.

1. Right to Refuse or Approve Riders

SAS Stud Stable reserves the right to decline any applicant or rider at our discretion.

All riders must provide honest and accurate information about their previous riding experience before joining any session.

2. Safety Gear and Clothing

For everyone’s safety:

•            All riders must wear approved riding helmets, suitable footwear, and appropriate clothing.

•            Helmets and boots brought by clients may be checked by staff to ensure they meet current safety standards.

3. Following Staff Instructions

Your safety is our top priority.

All participants must carefully follow instructions always given by instructors or staff both in the arena and around the yard.

4. Horse and Rider Pairing

Horses are carefully matched to riders based on their stated experience and ability.

Please be open and accurate about your level so we can ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.

5. Personal Accident Insurance

While we make every effort to maintain a safe environment, riders are strongly advised to carry their own personal accident insurance.

6. Acceptance of Risk

Horse riding is a rewarding but physically demanding sport, and it carries inherent risks.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:

•            Riding and handling horses may lead to personal injury or property loss.

•            You voluntarily assume these risks for yourself (and/or your child).

7. Possible Hazards

Some of the risks associated with horse riding and stable work include:

•            Being kicked, bitten, or trampled by horses.

•            Trapping fingers in doors, gates, or tack.

•            Slipping or falling when leading or handling horses.

•            Strain injuries from lifting or moving equipment incorrectly.

•            Injury if protective clothing isn’t worn properly.

We ask that all riders use care, awareness, and common sense around horses and always follow our yard safety procedures.

While SAS Stud Stable and its team take all reasonable precautions for your safety, by riding or handling horses at our facility, you agree that:

•            SAS Stud Stable, its owners, and employees will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation.

•            This includes any claims arising from negligence, accident, or any other cause.
